In my art I seek to awaken sensuality, an archaic sense of belonging, and tale-like worlds. Though these qualities are fading unnoticed in today’s world, I believe they still rest deep in our bones. Lifting the veil of oblivion is not easy – it is like searching for a new, precise key each time…
And yet, following my lunatic nature, I continue to draw soft, flowing lines and brushstrokes, that often lead me to bold expressions of femininity and body itself – for it holds so much, yet can be lightened through magic and beauty.
I was born in Lithuania—a land where pagan traditions still resonate and nature is held sacred. This deep connection shaped me from an early age. Although I didn’t grow up in an artistic environment, I discovered drawing and art as my passion. Was it by chance? Perhaps. But ever since, art has become an essential part of my life. I graduated from art school in my hometown and took private art classes to further develop my skills.
After moving to Germany, I began creating branding and promotional materials for an art association and its events. Since 2018, I’ve participated in dance performances in which my live painting was projected in real time onto the stage, becoming part of the scenography.
Since 2023, I have been studying communication design at the Werkkunstschule Lübeck, where I’m expanding my practice with new design methods and digital media. I enjoy working experimentally and often return to natural materials — connecting the archaic and the modern.
